12 Ways To Make Your Home A Wellness Sanctuary

Is there anyone who is not busy these days? I’m sure you’re running, connected 24/7, and in short time. For example, I’m writing this from 35,000 feet on the way back from a conference at Harvard, where I spent some weekend time to higher education.

In order to balance my schedule and my fitness goals, I keep some tools at home to help me stay healthy. I am not affiliated with any of these brands; I’m just recommending them because I use them and have found to be useful in my life. I hope they are useful in yours!

1. NutriBullet

I have this little kitchen helper around three years ago and is what I use for my nutrition as I run out of the house at 4:45 am. I start the day with my favorite breakfast smoothie, a blend of superfoods, vegetables and fruits. The NutriBullet is super easy to use and easy to clean.

2. Juicer

There is a legitimate debate about which juicer is better, but I found that the Breville works great for me; saves me time in terms of creating, juicing and cleaning. I hope to make juice regularly because I can do, enjoy, and clean up after a big green juice, all in less than 20 minutes.

I splurged a few years ago and got this sauna in my bedroom. Did you know that sweating is one of the best ways to get rid of toxins? Having a practical sauna makes it easy detoxification on a regular basis.

At the end of my bed is a half sheet of cotton woven wire mesh that travels through a cable to an earth and then the earth. The idea behind this is that the earth allows you to tap into natural energy of the earth. I have a similar pad in front of my office computer where I can get extra energy from the earth.

I bought this rowing machine over a decade and has held up well. I regularly use an intense Tabata style work and I can achieve a full body routine high rates of heart beat in a relatively short time.

6. Yoga mat and heater

I love so much a study of peaceful candlelit yoga and Kirtan music and a warm room full of people blasting music, but the ability to bring my home practice is necessary in the hasty days. Online programs are available and offer a range of styles and intensities.

7. Acupressure mat

This new addition to Nayoya has over 6,000 pressure points that can relieve stress and back pain quickly. While not a substitute for traditional acupuncture, which has been shared by my house and is receiving rave reviews.

I was introduced to this recently and practical device that can be moved from car to office to home. Simply load your choice of oil and fill your space with healing fragrances.

9. Spice Rack

I open the spice cupboard several times a day and keep the rack full of fresh and organic spices. Any food can quickly reach the state of super-nutrition with the extra turmeric, ginger, cilantro, rosemary, dry mustard, nutmeg, allspice, cloves, cinnamon or. Beside the spice rack is nutritional yeast, which gives many foods pleasant cheesy taste while addition of vitamin B12.

10. Tower garden

I still have not completely mastered the aeroponic gardening (the process of growing plants in the air instead of on the floor), but picking fresh green herbs brilliantly designed this device thas added flavor, freshness and fun meals.


11. Stand up desk

Some of my favorite activities are doing the work, answering emails and search the web – all from a cheap stand-up desk in my kitchen. With all the data to be associated with chronic illness, I feel better down the ass whenever possible.
